Gorgeous work Charles, you really have a grip on the medium from what I can tell. The motorcycle may need tad more rendering on the shapes with a smaller brush, but that's about all. =)

Whoa. Remember how I said every time I see your new work you always seem to improve tremendously? I still stand by that. This is wonderful, I'm really liking the left side with the shadows, it really looks like a real face with dimension. :] Can't wait to see more.

looking great for your second oil painting! better than mine for sure! you should see my old oil paintings. the first year i was painting they really realy sucked. i sell them at shows (or try to) b/c if i can get sell them vs. throwing them away it's a good day in my life.

anyway. i've alwas found that eyes are the hardest part to paint (that and lips and thighs for some reason). eyes are so specific and vary so lit tle from person to person that one wrong stroke could make a huge difference.
